emco cards is a one-woman illustration and design studio run by Emily Chen, a design program manager working at a digital product company by day, running emco on nights and weekends. emco cards specializes in illustrations and designs for brands, restaurants, weddings, and other special or ordinary occasions. a lot of her past work can be found on instagram. Emily has also created illustrations for brands like Goop, Resy, Flow Water, and more.

Emily started emco recos, an instagram account, to feed her passion of finding the best eats and drinks and letting the world know about them. in a world of food bloggers, she tries to cut through the hype by painting only the ones worth trying.

Some of her favorite things to draw are anthropomorphized food!

Emily also loves Hot Cheeto Puffs (not crunchy), Asian Grocery Stores, natural wine, contemporary architecture, finding unique travel destinations, and wearing sensible shoes.
